Supplemental figure 1. Serial sections of ameloblastic fibroma immunohistochemically stained with vimentin (A), desmin (B), neurofilament (C) and
GFAP (D). Odontogenic ectomesenchyme (Ec) was positive only for vimentin. Odontogenic epithelial element (Ep) showed no reactivity
with all antibodies.
Supplemental figure 2. Immunohistochemical stain for desmin of ameloblastic fibrosarcoma. A) Tumour parenchyma showed lack of desmin localization (Tu), whereas muscle was positive (Mu). B) High-power view of muscle. Striated structure demonstrated intense reaction. C) High-power view of the tumour. Both of epithelial (Ep) and odontogenic ectomesenchymal (Ec) components were negative.
