Abstract
We present the case of a 37 y.o. man with a metastatic malignant melanoma of the left temporalis muscle and a left ciliary body melanoma, arising from a melanocytoma. The tumour showed diffuse, satellite choroidal spread, a prominent lymphocytic immune response and perineural invasion. Although the transformation of melanocytoma into malignant melanoma has previously been described, the histology and the clinical presentation in this case are unusual.
